Do you want to take care of yourself and find a teacher near you? But you don’t want to rely on just anyone? Here’s how Gurubay selects its teachers:
First step, we ask each of our partner teachers to justify a theoretical background: we ensure that they are trained according to the standards of their discipline by checking their diploma or certification copy.
The second step involves communicating with each of them to confirm that they share our values and respect the terms of service proposed by Gurubay.
At the end of these two steps, the teacher's profile will be validated and visible on our platform, allowing the teacher to create courses and share their availability.
Depending on the practice, the certification pathways are different. Here’s detailed information on the documentation required from teachers to join our community.
For Yoga: To benefit from a certified profile on Gurubay, the yoga teacher must register and send us a diploma or certificate from a school recognized by one of the main European yoga federations. For example, UEY (European Union of Yoga), Inter-Hatha Yoga Federation, Traditional Yoga Federation, Yoga Alliance...
For Pilates: We ensure the attainment of a recognized diploma such as the BPJEPS (Professional Youth, Popular Education and Sports Certificate), BEES (State Diploma for Sports Educators), or CQP (Professional Qualification Certificate)...
For Sports Coaches: for these sports professionals with varied practices, there are also several means to practice. State diploma of sports educator with a focus on fitness professions or the BPJEPS. DEUST in fitness professions or a DEUST STAPS - even a Bac +3 STAPS.
You have understood, we study all requests carefully. If they do not meet the aforementioned standards, they will not be accepted on the platform.
